Description

Anesthesia Technician at Providence Mission Hospital in Mission Viejo, CA. This position is Per-Diem and will work 8-hour Day shifts.

Under the supervision of the R.N., this position performs safe and efficient transfer of patients, assists in room turnovers, assists in case preparation gathers and sets up supplies and equipment. This position participates in department in-services and staff meetings and communicates in hand-off reports to the Charge Nurse and peers.

This position provides critical service to the operating room and all areas supported by the Anesthesia Department by ensuring that anesthesia machines, electronic equipment, transport equipment, and supply carts are clean, safe, and ready for service to the patient population served (infant, child, adult, geriatric).

Required Qualifications:

• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.



• 2 years of Operating room assistant, anesthesia technician, or central supply experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate's Degree



• Cell Saver experience.

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
