Pharmacy Delivery Driver
Job Summary As a Pharmacy Delivery Driver, you will provide efficient and accurate prescription delivery service for pharmacy customers. You will also contribute to a service-centered pharmacy team by consistently building relationships with customers and exceeding their needs.Job Description - Experience Required: 0 to 6 months
- Experience Desired: Basic knowledge of map reading and understanding of general area
- Education Desired: High school diploma or equivalent
- Certification or Licensing Required: State Issued Driver's License and Clean Driving Record
- Lifting Requirement: Up to 40 pounds
- Travel Required: Regional - Daily, More than 50%; on-call availability
Job Responsibilities - Deliver prescriptions to pharmacy customers on a daily basis utilizing a provided company vehicle.
- Follow all Giant Eagle pharmacy established delivery procedures.
- Utilize the pharmacy computer system.
- Adhere to all company, state and federal policies, laws and regulations including HIPAA.
- Finalize all sales including delivery.
- Ability to travel to various locations using navigation applications
- Perform assigned duties of a pharmacy technician when not delivering prescriptions.
